WHAT IS STRONGEPICLIFE?

The only way we can truly enjoy all the epic adventures this life has to offer is with a strong healthy body. My own journey has shown me that adventure is found wherever we create it and we alone are responsible for keeping our bodies strong and healthy. Following the journeys of others has shown me that there's no one definition of a strong healthy body- for me it's having the strength to climb mountains, for a good friend of mine it's having the strength to wheel his chair across town...the body we are in doesn't dictate what we can do, it's up to us to decide how we want to use our strengths and improve on them. Life presents so many challenges, but if we're open to the possibilities, it also presents so much opportunity for adventure. Finding a balance of good nutrition, exercise and mindful movement prepares us for those adventures and can lead us to living a strong epic life. I invite you to dream big- set outrageous goals and believe in yourself...and if you don't succeed on the first try, it's all part of the adventure!
We're all capable of living a strong epic life. I had never been athletic growing up. I was uncoordinated and slow and dreaded gym class. I started running, practicing yoga and lifting weights in my mid-30's...it didn't take long before the desire to help others get healthy and strong kicked in for me. In my mid-40's I wanted to challenge myself more- I wanted to face fears and know my own strength. I learned to navigate after getting lost on trails, I found the strength to face my fears of being alone on a trail at night, I embraced climbing that had always been a struggle and ultimately grew to love going uphill so much that I moved to be near mountains.
On the other side of our fears is an incredible strength. I love helping others find that strength and discover what they're really capable of. I love sharing this strong epic life. 
So whether you want to start small and join me for a morning workout or dive all in and set some adventurous goals we can work towards- I would be honored to be part of your journey.
